By car<\/h3>\n

The address is <\/span>Rue du XIII Ao\u00fbt 42, 4050 Chaudfontaine, Belgium. <\/span><\/p>\n

The fort is located on a small hill just outside the center of Chaudfontaine. At the Delhaize of Chaudfontaine, turn off towards the hotel Le Ch\u00e2teau Des Thermes. Then drive over the small bridge and up the hill towards the fort. <\/span><\/p>\n

On top of the hill there is a large <\/span>free <\/span> parking lot where you can park your car. Is this parking lot full? There is another parking lot at Western City, an 11-minute walk away.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

By public transportation<\/h3>\n

Chaudfontaine is not far from Li\u00e8ge. Li\u00e8ge-Guillemins station is not only a very beautiful station but also very easily accessible from all major cities in Belgium. Furthermore, the station is internationally accessible from Germany, France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg with Eurostar, ICE and InterCity trains. <\/span><\/p>\n

From Li\u00e8ge-Guillemins station, you are 11 minutes into Chaudfontaine station by train or 20 minutes by bus. Then walk 2 kilometers up the hill toward the fortress. <\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that it is a steep hill (from 76 meters to 126 meters) and thus fairly challenging. The hike takes about 40 minutes. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

By bicycle<\/h3>\n

The green hills of Chaudfontaine offer a beautiful setting for athletic cyclists and even mountain bikers. Be aware, however, that the hills are quite challenging and thus not for everyone. <\/span><\/p>\n
